• Comments: We played Karl "up" into the older age group because his correct age group (the 11-12's) would finish just 3 days before the Junior Worlds, whereas this older age division gave him 6 days to recover, and more importantly, it was played on the same course & yardages as the Junior Worlds, whereas the 11-12's was played on a course which wasn't commensurate with the event. His play was excellent from Tee to Green, but he struggled to Putt well on the Poa Anna Greens.

• Comments: A great result and the best of the 11-year-olds in the field. With his Tee to Green on fire, Karl was putting for Birdie on most holes. However, as with the previous week on these Greens, simply didn't convert anywhere near enough Birdie Putts. Ovreall, a great effort.

• Comments: Another great result. Karl played well with superb short iron play and excellent course management. He also lead the field in Birdies for the tournament. Once he can get his Putts consistently getting to the hole at holing speed, the sky will be the limit.
